TRX's history in commodity trading has been established over sixty years:

• Originally founded in 1938 as a trading company, under the name Truxo Limited.
• In 1955, Mr Bernhard Rothfos becomes a shareholder and a link is formed to his growing international trading group.
• The mid 70's saw futures trading operations begin with the purchase of a coffee floor membership on the London Commodity Exchange.
• 1988 heralded the integration of the Bernhard Rothfos companies into the Neumann Kaffee Gruppe.
• 1992 saw TRX Futures officially established and separated from the physical coffee and cocoa trading activities of both Truxo and the other companies in the Neumann Kaffee Gruppe. Full LIFFE membership followed in 1993.

The firm is a member of The Coffee Trade Federation (C.T.F.), The Federation of Cocoa Commerce Limited (F.C.C), and The National Futures Authority (N.F.A.).
